Child First — Q AI

Child First means AI affecting children should be reviewed from the child’s interests—not only from convenience, engagement, accuracy, or business benefit.

What Q asks

  • Why is the AI interacting with the child?
  • What data and memory does it keep?
  • Can it persuade, pressure, profile, or create dependency?
  • Can a responsible adult see, stop, correct, reset, or remove it?
  • What happens when it is wrong?

Q treats children as requiring stronger review because development, judgment, privacy expectations, persuasion risk, and the ability to recognize failure differ from adult contexts.

Human authority

For consequential use, Q favors: AI may assist → responsible adult reviews → responsible adult decides. A checklist pass is not a declaration that a system is universally safe for children.
